The event time looks right, but I could not see it
The app computes where the Sun and Moon will be, not whether they are visible. Cloud, haze, terrain, buildings, and your local horizon can hide an object that is in the computed position.
There is no moonrise or moonset today
That can be correct. Some calendar dates have a moonrise but no moonset, or a moonset but no moonrise. The app identifies this condition instead of inventing a time.
The compass points the wrong way
Check the accuracy message in the compass screen. If accuracy is low, move the phone in a figure eight and step away from vehicles, magnetic tripod heads, cases with magnets, and metal railings. True-north orientation also needs location access.
I did not get a reminder
Reminders are local notifications. In Sun & Moon Planner, open Settings โ Permissions to see the current status and open iOS Settings if needed. A plan can still be saved when notifications are denied; only its reminder is affected.
Delete local data
Settings โ Data โ Delete all local data removes every saved place, plan, reminder, the last observing point, and cached map thumbnails. Theme, language, and display preferences are kept. There is no account or SynoriTech server copy.
Contacting us
Include the app version, iOS version, place and date involved, steps, expected result, and actual result. Do not send passwords or payment details. We aim to reply within three business days.
Saving a place while offline
Existing plans and confirmed locations remain available offline. A newly selected place needs a confirmed time zone before it can be saved. If the app shows an estimated zone, connect to the internet and retry.
