Information stored on your device
- Saved place names, coordinates, and time zones.
- Plans, selected dates and times, and reminder settings.
- Theme, language, and display preferences.
- The last observing point, including its coordinate, place name, and time zone, so the planner can resume there.
- Cached map thumbnails for saved plans. Their file names include coordinates and bearings.
- Local notification requests scheduled with iOS.
This information is not uploaded to SynoriTech.
Location
The app asks for location only when you request your position or enable location in the compass, and only while using the app. It uses the position to center the map and determine true north. The compass uses location and heading updates while its screen is active. A position selected in the planner is remembered as the last observing point and may be included in a place or plan you save; it is not sent to SynoriTech. If you decline, you can choose any point on the map manually. The app does not request background or Always location access.
Apple services
Apple Maps receives the coordinates of the area displayed. Apple also processes place-search and reverse-geocoding requests and helps resolve the time zone for a chosen place. Core Location supplies location and compass information. Apple handles this information under its own privacy practices; SynoriTech does not receive it.
Reminders and sharing
Reminders are ordinary local notifications scheduled on your device. If you share a plan card, the image is created locally and leaves the app only after you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. That destination’s privacy practices then apply.
What we do not do
No account creation, analytics or crash-reporting SDK, advertising identifier, advertising, tracking, data broker sharing, or cloud storage operated by SynoriTech.
Retention and deletion
Settings → Data → Delete all local data removes saved places, plans, reminders, the last observing point, and cached map thumbnails. Theme, language, and display preferences are kept. Deleting a plan also removes its cached map thumbnail. Deleting the app removes remaining local preferences. Because there is no account or server copy, SynoriTech cannot recover deleted information.
