DoseChime Privacy Policy

DoseChime is an offline-first medication reminder app. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

Data stored on your device

DoseChime stores the information you enter on your device, such as medication names, reminder schedules, dose logs, quiet hours, language preferences, theme preferences, and backup settings.

This data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Backups

If you use Backup & Restore, DoseChime creates a backup file on your device. You control where that file is saved or shared. We do not upload backups to our servers.

Notifications

DoseChime uses local notifications to remind you about scheduled doses. Notification delivery depends on your device settings, operating system, Focus or Do Not Disturb settings, silent mode, battery settings, operating system behavior, and connected wearable devices.

Purchases

If you unlock DoseChime, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Analytics and tracking

DoseChime does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

Website hosting

This privacy policy may be hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process basic technical information when you visit this page, according to GitHub’s own privacy practices.

Deleting your data

You can delete DoseChime data by deleting the app from your device. You can also delete any backup files you created.
