System requirements
One-Time Alarm uses Apple AlarmKit and requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later on a compatible device. Update the operating system and the app before troubleshooting.
Permission was denied
Open One-Time Alarm Settings → Alarm Permission and use the system-settings link. After allowing alarm access, return to the app and retry any alarm marked as needing attention.
Check that an alarm is really set
The upcoming list shows whether an alarm is confirmed on this device. If it says it needs attention, open it and retry. One-Time Alarm checks local records against iOS when the app starts or returns to the foreground.
The time changed while travelling
Each alarm keeps the exact instant you chose. When the device changes time zone, the displayed local clock time changes to show that same instant in the new zone. Review alarms before travel and around daylight-saving changes.
An alarm did not sound
Confirm the device was powered on, the alarm was enabled and confirmed on this device, and Alarm permission remained allowed. A time missed while the device was powered off is not delivered late. One-Time Alarm is not an emergency or safety system; use an independent backup for critical events.
Delete alarms
Delete one alarm from its row or edit screen. Settings → Delete all alarms removes every alarm after One-Time Alarm cancels the corresponding system registrations. If cancellation cannot be confirmed, the app reports that the item still needs attention instead of silently hiding the risk.
Purchases and refunds
One-Time Alarm is a paid download with no subscription or in-app purchase. Re-download it with the same Apple Account. Apple handles eligible refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
